Fun with the Follettes

I just had a funny encounter at Monoprix where I was sitting on the floor trying to understand tomato sauce (its very different here) and I overheard this American couple trying to find Pam spray. The lady said, "well, we could butter" and the man gave her the dirtiest look. Americans are very adverse to butter. I should have told them to try the butter, but after the man's look of disgust, they didn't appear as if they'd appreciate me butting in to their conversation.
