Here, you often see people walking around with a baguette hanging out of their purse. Personally, I like my baguettes and food in general to not get dirty before I eat it. So today, I stopped by Boulangerie Paul's to get a baguette to enjoy with some cheese. Yum! So, I go the grocery store and on my way back, I wait in a line wrapped outside of the boulangerie (its raining), I get my bread (which is at least partially covered in wrapping) and begin to carefully head home...least I poke somebody with the wonderful bread that I've just purchased for a mere 1 euro. Easier said than done.
Its raining outside and I'm sheltering my bread while I'm schlepping home two bags of groceries (cheese, veggies, and strawberries & ice cream for dessert). Btw, it smelled so good. I'm walking down a narrow street with my baguette while avoiding the men smoking cigarettes outside of the cafe, walking on the street at one point to avoid people bumping into my bread, and narrowingly missing an elderly man's sneeze. But alas I'm home with my bread and really wishing Clint would come home so I can eat it.
