So far, I've only given this blog site out to a hand full of people. I wanted to spend a little time getting used to writing. So, if you are reading this a) I promise to write more! I've been working A LOT for the past three weeks, but we met our deadline on Friday and my life should be more normal now; b) This will get more interesting! Per A, I haven't had a lot of time....but I'm really excited to write about the process of moving and my experiences as an expat; and c) I promise to give out my blog site address to everyone soon! Maybe in a week or so. I had these cute e-cards made with my little Parisian avatar on it that I'm excited about sending out.
Where's Clint?
Good Question! Clint is in London working on a project and having a great time. He's been site seeing and visiting many pubs this holiday weekend (yes, its a holiday in London too). I will upload some of his pictures from this weekend when he sends them to me. He is also meeting up with some of our old friends from Baton Rouge who are now living outside of London.
Good news! Clint will be in Paris on Tuesday to meet with our real estate person to view a few apartments. We think we know which apartment we want...I'm absolutely in love with this place. The pictures show the front of the building, the street (Rue de la Paix) and courtyard. The location is absolutely PERFECT...its a few blocks from the Opera de Paris (Palais Garnier)and walking distance to the Louvre.
Things are starting to really come together. We found people to rent out our house here. Its a very nice situation, where a Company is renting it from us for a couple of employees who will be traveling to Dallas Monday-Thursday and leaving on the weekends.
